ISTANBUL MEETİNG BETWEEN P5+1 AND IRAN (Istanbul, April 14, 2012)

   1. GENERAL INFORMATION

     Turkey will host the new round of talks between P5+1 and Iran in Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Congress and Exhibition Center on 14 April 2012. The P5+1 delegation (USA, Russia, China, France, United Kingdom and Germany) will be led by Catherine Ashton, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security/Vice President of the European Commission. The Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, Saeed Jalili will head the Iranian delegation.  
 
   2.  ACCREDITATION

     Members of the press who wish to cover the activities should apply for accreditation to the address below in person or e-mail, NO LATER THAN 12 April 2012 by 4:00 pm.

     a) Members of the national press should legibly fill in the enclosed accreditation form (also available at www.byegm.gov.tr) and attach a copy of their press card. Media members without this press card should apply with a letter of authorization from their media organization and a copy of their official ID cards.

     b) Resident members of the foreign press in Turkey should legibly fill in the enclosed accreditation form (also available atwww.byegm.gov.tr) and attach a copy of their press card.

     c) Members of the foreign press coming from abroad should legibly fill in the enclosed accreditation form (also available atwww.byegm.gov.tr) and attach a copy of their local press card, a letter of authorization from their media organization, a copy of their passport.

     Accreditation forms can be downloaded from www.byegm.gov.tr.

     Applications received after the aforementioned deadline will not be processed.

     Members of the press who submit all the requested documents in due time can collect their accreditation cards on Friday, 13 April, at the accreditation desk which will be set up at the Istanbul Congress Center (B2 Floor, Macka Saloon), between 9:00-16:00.

     A Press Center will be set up at the Istanbul Congress Center on April 14, 2012.

     Turkish Radio-Television Co. (TRT) and Anadolu Agency (AA) are the official broadcasters of the meeting.
