A memorial ceremony will be held at the Turkish Embassy Chancery at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 27 to commemorate 40^th anniversary of the assassination of Consul General Mehmet Baydar and Consul Bahadır Demir.

Ambassador Namık Tan and Presidents of leading Turkish umbrella organizations will speak at the ceremony.

We would like to invite all members of the Turkish-American community to join us on January 27 in remembering Mr. Baydar and Mr. Demir, and those others who lost their lives while serving their country.
