H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, is paying an official visit to Bangkok to attend the Second Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit which is held in Thailand on 8-10 October 2016.

Within the scope of the Summit Meeting, Foreign Minister H.E. Çavuşoğlu will attend some events and meet with his counterparts from member states over regional and bilateral issues.

Founded on the initiative of Thailand in 2002 and with 34 members today, Asia Cooperation Dialogue is a platform that aimes at improving mutual dialogue and cooperation among the states in various fields.

The Second Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit is of importance as it is the first Summit in which Turkey takes part after joining the platform in 2013.
